The Pappy Martin Legacy Jazz Collective and Burchfield Penney Art Center celebrated the birthday of the annual John Coltrane jazz festival September 28 – 30, 2023! Headliner Ravi Coltrane accompanied by the Curtis Lundy Trio made last year extra special along with many other meaningful performances.
The Love Supreme School of Music students performed before a sold out audience for its 2023 Winter Recital! We are so proud of each one of the students for their musicianship, showmanship and outstanding performance held at the Northland Workforce Training Center. Special thanks to our dedicated music teachers and parents for their commitment and support!

We are honored that you joined us at the celebratory gathering of the 28th Annual Pappy Martin Legacy-Masten Jazz Festival! It represents the continuation of our commitment to extend and expand the vision of the late James “Pappy” Martin to use Jazz as a tool to educate, unite, uplift and transform our community.
